A perfect collaboration - Gray Floral x Sustaina Grow.
In this post we find our selves writing again about another Sustainable business we love - this one is called Gray Floral.
Gray Floral is a beautiful nursery / garden center based in Marlborough. Rachel, the owner / operator and myself instantly connected after the first conversation. We talked about all things sustainability, business struggles, and the idea of balancing it all!
After a few chats and trials, Rachel decided to start using Sustaina Grow wool to package her plant seedlings she sends all around New Zealand.
Using our wool was an obvious choice for Rachel. The wool:
Protected the seedlings from transit damage
Kept the seedlings moist
Is a packaging solution with a second life use - Sustaina Grow provides a packing slip that informs the customer on how they can use the wool in their own gardens.
Regulated the temperature of the seedlings so they were not over heating / freezing during transit.
We love collaborating with other businesses to help them find sustainable solutions to their problems. What we love about this collaboration in particular was that we found ourselves relating to Rachel and her family and their business journey. There is nothing better than having a circle of people around you that you can call on for a chat or advice.
