Our story.
We are Rita and Dave Hammond and from our farm on the foothills of Mount Ruapehu, we bring you Sustaina Grow. An ethical wool garden business.
Sustaina Grow came about with the intention of reducing the use of petrochemical and synthetic products in the garden industry and bringing you wool alternatives.
All our products are made in New Zealand and we have full visibility of the entire process from paddock to product.
As our business has grown we have continued to develop solutions with wool in vineyards, riparian planting projects, commercial horticulture, and beyond.
The more we work with wool the more we realise its capabilities in the battle against plastic. If you have a project in mind that calls for a biodegradable and renewable product, please get in touch; we could very well have the solution!

All our products are hand-packed by the Sustaina Grow team here in little Ohakune. We have three young children at our feet and love to get them involved, teaching them about sustainability and caring for our earth.
