They are finally here! Our beautiful black wool hanging basket liners. These are limited edition as we trial to see what the response to them is.

Here at Sustaina Grow we are super conscious of the environmental impact different garden products can have. You will often hear us talking about the over use of synthetics in the garden indstry. However, coco fibre substrates used in hanging baskets also have a negative environmental impact in developing countries - we just can’t see that impact in our own back yard.

With this in mind we have developed extra trick black wool to replace coco fibre and create the perfect sustainable wool hanging basket liner!

The wool is not only ethically sourced here in NZ from NZFAP farms, it is a renewable fibre and safe to use in the garden.

Wool has superior water retention properties which means your hanging baskets will not dry out as much in the summer!
